Cotwall End Primary School has a well deserved reputation of being a caring school.  We will do our best to make sure that any child's time here is as happy and successful as possible.  We value parent/carer support and trust that with their assistance, we can create a rich learning environment that will enable our pupils to flourish and grow from strength to strength.

The school was established as an Infant and Junior School in 1962. In 1981, it was decided to amalgamate the two schools and Cotwall End Primary School now caters for children from 3 to 11 years.

We offer a rich variety of experiences to all our pupils.

An emphasis is placed on the National Curriculum Core Subjects of English, Mathematics, Science and ICT in order to provide our children with the building blocks for life, but we also work hard to provide a strong emphasis on other subjects, especially sports and the arts, to address the needs and interests of the whole child.

The Governors, Headteacher and school staff are dedicated to providing the children with a high quality of education, delivered in a happy, caring environment.  We believe this will also help to develop the children's own individual personalities.

We run a very successful After School Club on school site until 6.00pm each evening during the school term.  We also run a Breakfast Club, available from 7.40am until the school day starts. Further details are available from the School Office.
