Well what a lovely few weeks of sunshine we have been having. We were lucky enough on Saturday to have dry weather for the Maypole Festival that our Year 3 children took part in. The maypole dancers were superb and really shone. Well done to all the dancers and staff that helped.
We have had a busy week as it has been SAT's week. Year 6 started off their days with breakfast at school and straight into 4 days of tests. Year 2 also had their SAT's this week. All children were a credit to the school, just dived straight in and made all staff very proud. Superstars all round.
Next week sees the last week of this school term. Year 6 are going are going to Drayton Manor Park as part of their 'end of Year 6 celebrations'. I am sure they will all have a wonderful day, and with the sunny weather set to continue next week they will all be having fun.
The school football team are playing in away game at Milking Bank -good luck to everyone playing in the match.
