Remembrance Day

Remembrance Day marks the day World War One ended, at 11am on the 11th day of the 11th month, in 1918. On Wednesday 11th November 2020 we held a 2 minute silence here at Cotwall End Primary School.

In Pre-School they used potatoes to print poppies, all the children joined in and they were turned into a poppy wreath which is now on display in pre-School.

Year 1 painted poppy pictures and Year 2 have created an amazing display upcycling plastic bottles, I'm sure you will agree that they all look fantastic and are perfect to remember those who gave their lives in the line of duty.
