Opening of the Sunshine Garden
On Saturday 22nd June 2019 we opened our garden in memory of our pupil Sanjay and his brother Pawanveer.
The event was a huge success and we can't thank everyone enough for showing your support.
We had such glorious weather on the day and we hope we succeeded in celebrating the boys lives.
By creating this garden we hope it will become a place to offer peace and tranquillity to those who wish to sit there for years to come.
Photos of the garden are coming soon.

World Book Day.
Thursday 7th March 2019
On Thursday 7th March we celebrated World Book Day. This was a non-uniform day for both children and staff where we all came to school dressed as our favourite book character, fancy dress or our own clothes for the day.
As you can see the Staff here at Cotwall End got into the spirit and made a huge effort for the day.
For the Love of Animals Day.
Thursday 14th February 2019.
Once again we have been overwhelmed by your support and generosity for our School Council fundraising day for Brockswood Animal Sanctuary.
We had a fabulous day and everyone looked amazing in their animal themed outfits. During the day, each year group went to the KS1 hall to meet Steve from Brockswood and some of the animals that they look after. The animals he brought had been abandoned on their car park and Brockswood now provide them with a home for life. They do this for many other animals too, most of whom you will see when you visit. Everyone enjoyed learning about the fabulous work they do in caring for the animals.
We are thrilled to announce that we raised an amazing £993 in total from donations received on the day and the sale of the animal bracelets. We are now arranging a visit for the School Councillors to Brockswood so that we can present them with a cheque. Brockswood are so grateful to you all for your donations and have asked us to pass on their thanks and to let you know how much they appreciate your support. On the day, we found out that it costs them £1000 to feed the animals they have every month, so we know the money we have raised will be put to good use.
